I did the upgrade with Neroserver and tested a Disney short in starlight mini local and the results had small parts of the video that were not upscaled. Donald Ducks beak was partially not upscaled. There were other issues like this throughout the video. Rolling back to the previous version fixed all the issues and upscaled normally. This is just for reporting since rolling back fixed my issue.
Can you clarify a bit of this issue? You mean segments of a video you processed were not upscaled, while the rest of the file was upscaled?
Did the video change resolution sizes, or were sections of the frame distorted? Do you happen to still have the exported video for reference?
Sure. The source file was 480p and used starlight mini local at minimum to run. After running the entire file was done but when watching the video, there was parts of the frame that were not upscaled. On a frame when Donald and the nephews were all in frame, their beaks had part that were clearly still 480p and blurry. This was through the entire video like when using photo AI you can hide text from the AI it seems like random sections were like this through the entire video.
I am Windows 11 25H2, fully patched, NVIDIA 5090 driver 595.97 with 9800X3D CPU with 64GB DDR5. The video I used was ās1949e02 Donaldās Happy Birthday.mkvā if you want to try and repeat the process. I deleted the file though sorry. I used H265 as the codec and copied the audio which was most likely AC3 with a standard High profile using variable bitrate.
Okay, can you link the original file here and we can run some tests to try and replicate this issue.
as requested.
Putting it into the queue shortly.
