I cannot seem to get slow motion to work no matter which variation of setting I use with any model.
I’m trying to convert 4K 59.976 footage into literally any other variation of slow motion and nothing I choose works. I’ve tried different codecs with different containers with different speeds and different frame rates, etc. Nothing is working on neither my laptop nor my desktop.
I’ve tried Apollo, Apollo Fast, Chronos, Chronos Fast, and Aion.
Must be some serious bugs and I’m really relying on this software to work for a project…but it’s not.
Can you grab the logs from the app and send in to the team for review of this? help@topazlabs.com
To gather logs, please select Help > Logging > Get Logs for Support and attach the zip file to your reply.
Here is a video to help with the steps of how to collect the logs.
There are a few bugs in the latest release of 1.7.0 that the team is actively working on addressing. If you are seeing these issues in that release, you can try rolling back to 1.6.1 and try there, as some changes in hardware decoding that were made for the new release have caused some issues.
Okay, I sent you the logs in an email. I’ve also attached them here
logsForSupport.zip (5.7 MB)
I was able to render out a single video file by transcoding it to H.265 59.94 fps and then running it through topaz, however, I can’t get any other files to do the same using the same process.
Thank you! I did this and things are working perfectly. When can we expect a working updated model?
Glad to hear that is working for you. The team is preparing a patch update for users and we hope to have it ready in the near future.
