Sharpen AI v 2.2.2 mask brush does not show

I was using Sharpen AI today (v 2.2.2). Sometimes, the brush does not show after I click on the mask button. The cursor changed into a hand icon not a brush. Any ideas?

It should appear like this, I cannot see an issue so I would suggest raising a support request at the Topaz Labs main website:
