The church is located in the very small village of Mogno 1,200 meters above sea level (Ticino/Switzerland). The original church and several houses in the village were destroyed by an avalanche in 1986. The famous Swiss architect Mario Botta designed the new church. Only 15 people fit in there during church service. When we visited early May it started to snow a little bit which was ok because we had the church for ourselves. The atmosphere in there is quite unique.
