My sojourn into watercolors continues. Earlier this week we stopped in for lunch at the BI Fish Company for fresh grilled seafood. After getting settled and served I noticed a wonderful print of a Black Rockfish hanging on the wall. The image has been bouncing around in my head for a couple days so yesterday I decided to do something about it – but with some color. I’m still using student grade paints and looking forward to graduating to artist grade paints. Because I’m using student grade paints, I digitally bumped up the color contrast and saturation. The original is slightly flatter but still lovely. It’s a journey right?
