Resolved | Stuck Detecting Faces

When I attempt to use Gigapixel AI version 8.4.4, I am getting a message “Detecting faces”. It will stay there as long as the application is open. Even when there are no faces in the picture. When I use Gigapixel Studio, version 1.02, I am still receiving the “Error encountered while processing.” I have performed a clean uninstall and then reinstalled the application on both. Please note: Photo Studio is working perfectly, with no issues.

I too initially had a problem with getting the new 1.02 version of Gigapixel to work. I had to tell Norton Security to trust the C:\Program Data\Topaz Labs LLC\Topaz Gigapixel* before it would install the models that it was Gigapixel was reporting as broken.
Once I did this, I ran the install program again in repair mode.
It took an age because the model files are enormous and my internet connection runs at a rather stately speed, even when the whole world and his wife aren’t loading new products.
But it seems to work now.

I get the “Error encountered while processing” if I change the long side from 6152 to 6153 the resize works fine.

I’ve gone around with Topaz support on what sounds like the same bug you mention. I don’t think they are understanding me though.

anyone find a workound for this? I am having the same problem.
