Resolved | Reinstalling worked to resolve crash on import

v1.4.1 installs some but not all models and closes when opening a picture.

[Using Windows 11 Pro FR)

A first attempt at updating from version 1.3.3 to version 1.4.1 gave the same result : immediate crash when loading any kind of image, as with version 1.4.0.

Then I did a thorough un-installation using Revo Uninstaller Pro (I didn’t keep my current settings) and installed again using the MSI file. The software now appears to work normally. I didn’t test much models but at least, it no longer crashes when loading images.

I had similar problems with Gigapixel. This was due to leftover model files after updating. It seems that there’s something wrong with the way their installers are checking the state of the app being updated. Obviously, this still need to be fixed.

Seeing you mention uninstalling and reinstalling v1.4.0 worked, marking as resolved!
