RESOLVED | Issues Accessing The New Photo App

I keep trying to upgrade Topaz Studio and Topaz Photo Ai, go thru the process, says complete but still not upgraded.

You’ll need to be a bit clearer and more detailed about what your trying to do.

Topaz Photo AI and Topaz Photo (Studio version) are two separate apps. If you install Topaz Photo, it does not replace Topaz Photo AI (both will co-exist on your system). The latest version of Topaz Photo AI is v4.0.4, that released last September. The latest version of Topaz Photo is v1.1.1, that released last December.

Hi @kim.coles, checks on our end show that this issue has been resolved, as you now have access to the new Topaz Photo app. If any other user is having the same issue, all you need to do is ensure you are logged in to the new Photo app:

  • Photo AI on the left is the Legacy version (with AI in the naming) and requires a license for it. this is a discontinued app and will not receive any further new model updates past v4.0.4

  • Topaz Photo on the right is the new susbcription-only app (no AI in the naming). It requires a subscription to use it and has the new models.

  • You can access your Account page to see which one is on your account. If you have access to both, you can uninstall the older Legacy one to avoid conflicts and save Disk Space. All the Photo AI models are present in the new Topaz Photo app!
