When I try to run it (double click it or run from PS), it prompts: “The application was unable to start correctly (0xc0000142)” Any idea what is wrong
Hi Wang.
This looks like a general Windows error code probably informing you the connection between the two applications failed to execute
A couple of things to try firstly are your GPU Drivers up to date which is usually the culprit or failing that you could try repairing or uninstall and reinstall Gigapixel or even running Gigapixel as administrator.

Thanks for the reply and I managed to solve the problem. I realized there are several versions (including earlier versions) being installed on my computer. So I manually uninstalled them one by one, then re-install the latest version, it works now. I didn’t know the newer installer didn’t remove the old versions.

Pleased to know you managed to resolved this issue the only thing which really doesn’t matter now because, you’ve removed the earlier versions is that the installation process should remove the previous versions automatically seems strange this hasn’t happened.
The only exception to this is the new Topaz Gigapixel v1.0 which doesn’t remove the previous Topaz Gigapixel AI v8 Topaz Gigapixel version 1.0 loads alone side the previous version and you have to do as you have and remove version 8 manually by Uninstalling it.
