The initialization phase in Topaz Gigapixel shouldn’t last longer than about 60 seconds.
Any initialization, analysis, or processing that stalls, produces an error or crash could be a sign of compatibility conflicts. This might be as simple as updating your OS or installing updated graphic drivers.
In some rare cases, an install could go awry and rerunning the installer for repair, or performing a full reinstall can resolve the issue.
If something is truly wrong with a release of ours after basic troubleshooting, revert to the previous release that was working for you.
