Resolved in v1.1.0 | Longest Edge | Preference Broken

Using version v1.0.2, I can go to Preferences and set the following:

Upscale and size:
[Set Output Size] → [Longest] → [3000 px]

When I drag and drop images into v1.0.2, the interface correctly shows “Longest edge: 3000 px” and all images display a longest side of 3000 px under Output Size.

After upgrading to v1.0.4, this behaviour stopped working, so I downgraded back to v1.0.2.

I am now setting up a new computer and installed v1.0.7. Unfortunately, this version also does not behave like v1.0.2, so I am once again downgrading.

This workflow feels like a very basic and essential procedure, and I don’t understand why the newer versions I’ve tried no longer behave the same way as v1.0.2. I am paying upgrade fees, but the upgrades do not preserve the functionality of the version I was satisfied with and willing to pay for.

I’m feeling extremely frustrated, as installing and reinstalling Gigapixel is not a quick process. It takes hours, not minutes.

Hello,

This is a known issue that the developers are preparing to release a fix for in the next update.
