Request | Render Preview Toggle

I can’t work in the Gigapixel UI easily when it constantly has to process and reprocessing image previews any time at all that I change my view of the image I am working on. It’s annoying, it slows down my entire workflow, and there is no reason not be able to toggle it off. Even if I have to toggle it off for every image again, that is preferable to this dumbed down version. It’s becoming not worth my time to use Gigapixel anymore. Please restore the toggle option in the current interface. Thanks.

Hi.

Just stumbled upon your idea and I see you posted this three weeks ago so, you probably already know about this

But, I was wondering if you were aware of the new Smart Zoom feature added to Gigapixel within the last couple of weeks

Here’s some information about Smart Zoom

Smart Zooming

You may recall that Gigapixel would re-render when zooming into an already processed subregion in the Navigator. Now you can zoom in with smoothness and far less unnecessary re-rendering.

This change went into Photo AI a few months back, and we’re excited to add this to Gigapixel. We will continue to refine the speed and performance of the preview.

Hope this helps
