Request for a "safe mode" application launch feature

It would be very helpful if I can launch the application while holding the SHIFT key and have it NOT open the previously opened project. This would be a huge time saver. I don’t use projects anyways.

  1. A preference setting to NOT open the last project on launch.
  2. The ability to hold SHIFT during launch to reset all settings and NOT load the previous project.

Currently, I just delete the entire projects folder. This allows me to skip loading the previous project. Also, I should mention that the CANCEL button does nothing.
