edit issue solved, was looking in the wrong place for the option!
I’m on a PC and this is maddening, can we just have it default to whatever the extension was that the original file had? I know it’s functionally the same but it looks kinda weird lol

If your original file is a JPG then select Preserve Input Format. If it’s not and you select JPEG it will add .jpeg as the file extension and not .jpg. They are exactly the same, but if the “e” offends you I suppose you could edit it out. I know how to do this in bulk on a Mac, but not on a PC; but it should be easy enough.
ahhhh my bad, I was looking in the settings menus for the option. thank you!
Hello,
please add the possibility to save To JPG (instead of only JPEG)
Since I work with .jpg it gets annoying that Topaz generated files use the ending .jpeg instead, which is longer and makes file lists with .jpg and .jpeg more difficult to skim through.
This got recently added to Photo AI, but I switched back to Topaz Gigapixel, because Photo AI tends to get overloaded with other features that I do not need.
Hi.
This feature has just been added to Photo AI so, I suspect this will also, be added to Gigapixel in the near future
