I have Topaz setup to move my processed photos into an export folder.
Is there a way to get Topaz to automatically delete the original photo after it has been processed?
I guess such an option would cause A LOT of complaints because quite some users will unthoughtfully enable it and regret it afterwards and then spam the forum with angry posts…
Besides, with the badly working autopilot and it’s hit-or-miss results plus occasional artifacting of TPAI I would strongly suggest to keep the original until you have thoroughly looked at the output.
That is probably true. But maybe moving the files to an archive folder instead of deleting them…
I would never delete the original photos, unless they are no good.
The danger is you edit the photo in Topaz, then save it, then find out there are issues with it, if original has gone, then what do you do?
You can always delete the original afterwards but I would keep it. There maybe better software, in the future.
That has never been a problem for me and if it were to be a problem, I could get the originals out of an archive folder. That is the solution I need. They are picked up and put in Topaz, processed, then the originals are moved to an archive folder and I can delete them there.
When dealing with hundreds of photos, it is very difficult to track which photos I have processed and which ones I have not.
