Doesn’t matter which task I try to run (upscale, stabilization… etc) on windows or mac, I always get this error “Recoverable error”. After “retry” it try to run it again, jut to fail again. After some retry attemps, howl task fails.
Tested on mac with version 1.2.0 and windows with versions 1.1.0 and 1.2.0

I’m encountering today a similar problem with the older version I’m still using (Video AI 5.5.1). Regardless of the task I try—upscaling, stabilization, etc.—the process fails after a few retry attempts.
I understand my version is no longer supported, and that might be the cause. It’s just frustrating because it was working reliably until recently, and I haven’t made any significant system changes. I also don’t currently need newer features or “better” results—the old version did exactly what I needed.
If continuing with 5.5.1 isn’t feasible, I may have to start looking for alternatives outside of Topaz. Before I do, has anyone found a workaround or knows if there’s a way to keep older versions functional? Any advice would be appreciated.
Please send the logs to the support team at help@topazlabs.com and we will see what we can do to assist. The older version shoudl not have just stopped working as it hasnt been updated from our end, its locked at what it was.
If you recently updated your drivers, OS version or changed some other aspect that could be having a negative effect though as we have seen some older versions, namely 2.6.4, running into issues with newer OS updates.
Send us the logs and we can take a look though.
