The last 3 times I’ve processed the same photoshoot has made their faces worse. Not sure that Photo AI is suited for face recovery.
You can change the strength of the Face Recovery feature to help with the edits you are trying to achieve.
Also, you can go to your Preferences > Autopilot > Face Recovery and adjust the default settings.
