I’ve got some 5K ProRes HQ drone footage that I’m trying to recover some blowout highlights and try to make the image more balanced. Topaz has helped some but looking to see if anyone has any suggestions to enhance maybe more. I’ve been making adjustments to my the original ProRes HQ log footage. My Topaz video settings are Recover Detail set to 82, SDR to HDR set to ON , Transfer function set to PQ, Adjust exposure 0.16, Boost Saturation 0.43, Highlight thresh. 0.80 and exporting out to ProRes HQ. I was hoping that Topaz would be able to get a little more creative enhancing my video but it seems more to lightly improve the quality so looking for any suggestions on my current setting or any other suggestions. The app does not have specific tools to help restore highlights but using the settings you have is a great start. What more are you wanting out of it, when you mention creative enhancing?
