Progressive vs Interlaced video determination

Hello,
Previous versions of Video AI stated in the original video description the status of whether it was a progressive or interlaced video along with the resolution and fpm. With the new version, it does not appear to present that information. I am having difficulty determining the status of new videos.

Can this parameter be added to the other videl specifications that are output?

Thank you,

Todd Rosenau

Use MediaInfo to determine if it is Progressive or Interlace, it’s very simple.
right click on the video → MediaInfo.

Thank you for the reply. So I have to download a third party application? Just checking. I could have sworn that Video AI displayed that status in the video section on the right hand side in the previous version.

I will check that app out.

Thank yuou,

Todd Rosenau

I haven’t noticed if it did in the past, so I can’t comment on it. usually MediaInfo is already installed on most systems as it comes as part of codec packs users install to be able and play many types of videos.

Hi,
Thanks for the info. Would you have a list and sources for the various codec packs that users typically install?

Thanks,

Todd

Awesome. Thank you very much!
