I am specifying a new desktop PC and one of the major applications that I use is Topaz. I have found the minimum requirements spec but I would really like to do better than the minimum and would like to know what you recommend for general-purpose photo processing. I don’t want to spend a fortune (I am an amateur and don’t image process for a living) but I am hoping that there is a sweet spot somewhere between the minimum and the very expensive.
Peter, I’m using a Mac Mini M1 w/16g Ram and a 512G SSD… and a dozen other usb and thunderbolt drives…
I’ve been using Topaz for several years, and have not experienced any issues of performance that can be traced back to a lack of hardware… I use a cheap 32" Acer monitor with an HDMI connection…
