I really don’t appreciate opt-out data collection policies.
“It’s anonymous” “It helps us improve the product”
Oh. Is that how consent works now? Give me a prompt and ask, or opt-out by default, please.
Also, “Don’t show for 1 day - 1 month” on updates… So I can’t just say “Don’t show for updates” I can ONLY tell it “Bother me later”? This is some Microsoft/Adobe type anti-consumer type stuff. “There is no no, there is only ‘remind me later’”.
These two things together really sours me towards Topaz Labs.
