NVIDIA RTX 4090 performance

It’s a beta 3.1 release don’t know the timeline for an official release, you can request access to the beta forum to get a look at it.

This is definitely issue with Topaz software. If you look at the additional power consumption through HWiNFO, it will be about 60-80 watts, which is 6-8 times lower than that in normal pytorch neural networks. At 720p Video AI is even slower than stable diffusion, which has more iterations per second. In its current form, Video AI is just unusable on 40-series cards.

Look again now that 3.1 is out. It is driving my 3080Ti to an average of 87% utilization. The board is drawing an average of 365 watts with peaks of 441 , at 91% TDP. All according to GPU-Z.

Meanwhile, CPU utilization runs between 85% and 95% and draws an average of 180 watts, but has peaked as high as 400 watts. According to HWInfo

According to my UPS, I draw between 750 and 825 watts total.

I doubt anything can wring any more performance than that.
