Nvidia "buys" Intel

I think that this is no good news for AMD.

Nvidia must be frightend about UDNA.

And i think that Intel GPUs are a thing of the past.

The future belongs to Nvidia, I don’t say this for nothing, unfortunately some people cannot predict the future.

Well, intel GPUs never were any good, so…

TopazLab did drop the AI Branding too.

Is the AI Bubble about to burst?

Hoops.
I did not know that Intel has such big Problems.

This announcement is unprecedented, and it raises a question about the future for Intel Arc GPUs

With my tinfoil hat on, I suspect it might have partly been about the ARC and the “risk” that Intel would start competing with large VRAM for the “inference market”, even if the processor nodes were weaker than nVidia’s. VRAM gating is nVidia’s real price differentiation moat. If people could avoid the PCIe lane cost at a cheaper price than nvidia’s expensive server cards, they’d take a massive market hit on the inference side.

The other thing that nags in the back of my mind is that perhaps the “administration” strong-armed jensen to “save” intel. They’ve pretty much stated outright already that they want private enterprise to chip-in (pun intended) and help save intel. Seems plausible it might also be a partial explanation.
