Nuthatch

Today I was honored with a rare visitor – a shy bird named Nuthatch (Sitta europaea). This is a bird with the unique ability to climb down a tree trunk head first (i.e. downwards), not backwards. It came to have its portrait taken, paid with guano and flew away to its home in the near forest. I tried Topaz Photo 1.0.0; the Superfocus method improved the feathers. It looks “really real” as I could see it at very close range by my eyes.

To be more precise, the Nuthatch landed quite hard initially, so it needed some five minutes to recover before flying away. I did not hesitate to take advantage of his recovery time, such a rarity (at least for me)!
