Hi.
Just curious. Those of you who bought into this new scheme: could you share your rationale for sticking with Topaz?
Absolute Freedom and Control:
The main reason people like myself stick with Topaz is that it can either do things the Adobe simply can’t or you have far more control, flexibility and more
Video and Restoration:
Topaz Video is considered the gold standard for removing motion blur and upscaling old footage.
Adobe Premiere Pro is an incredible editor, but its AI enhancement tools are rudimentary by comparison.
Photo and Restoration:
To be honest, I could go on about how the Topaz and Adobe Apps are the perfect match for one another but, what would be the point you held onto Photo AI so you know that already and lets just say Topaz are kicking it right with Models like Wonder 2 and Starlight and their face recovery is second to none.
What more proof, do you need then, Adobe choosing Topaz as a Partner Contributor by offering Topaz Denoise, Sharpen Gigapixel and Bloom directly accessible within Photoshop and the there’s only two caveats one, you don’t get the control you do with the Standalone Applications and two, they cost you Credits every time you use them.
Unlimited Cloud Rendering:
One of the biggest benefits with the $400 Studio Plan is the Unlimited Cloud Rendering at no extra cost and it benefits users without a $3,000 GPU, Topaz allows you to offload the heavy lifting to their servers and by comparison Adobe’s Firefly-based tools are fast, but they are Metered; once you run out of monthly credits, your processing speed drops or you have to buy more.
My Perspective:
I personally don’t need everything Adobe has to offer for myself all I need is the Adobe Photography Plan which includes Photoshop and Lightroom plus more, the Topaz Studio Collection and everything that has to offer as mentioned including unlimited High Resolution Cloud Reading (Not the Metered 1K or 2K images as with Adobe) and DaVinci Resolve Studio for Video Editing, Colour Correction, Fusion FX and the Fairlight DAW.
Besides if I need Nano Banana I can get it directly from Google and with Higher Resolutions
Conclusion:
As you can see My Rationale is the perfect combination of combining the Adobe Photography Plan, the Topaz Studio Collection and DaVinci Resolve Studio gives me everything I need at a considerably less cost than spending $800 for Adobe and did I mention Affinity is now free.
So, my question to you what is your rationale for sticking with Adobe.
Freedom and Control is yours for the taking:
