Network Error when activating

I keep getting a network error when trying to activate. Even after I disable my firewall and antivirus. The website opens and says it’s activated, but the app immediately says there’s a network error after that window auto closes. I’m on Windows 11.

I fixed it by installing on a separate drive than the default install location. I believe it may have been a permissions issue with the Program Files folder.
