Mother, will you read to me?

Took this sculpture image in one of the courtyards of a hotel in Oahu. I worked on it in Studio using my Double smudge preset. Then I applied an orange tone gradient on a separate layer to give the outer edges of the image an amber color tone. Then I applied Adjust and toned down the highlight areas.

I like the original shot. I can see how the frame, smudge, and especially the orange gradient really enhanced the image! The vegetation has a lot more character and the flame has gone from white to having a nice orange color. Did you blend the orange gradient with a mask, blendif, or some other method?

Thanks @KenKv. Sorry for the delay, the image was not appearing at a larger size, seems to be ok now?
Here’s a screen grab of the layers in PS so you can see how I used the gradient & mask. Notice that the Multiply blend mode was used @56% on the gradient layer. Hope this helps? If not let me know.

Very helpful! The screenshot is a great way of explaining it.

You know what they say-

Subtle application of processing but so effective.

Thank you very much @BorderlineUK for the encouraging comment.
