How do I export restored photos from Mosaic? I have been impressed with the quality of the photos in general but have no use for a series of Topaz albums. I need to be able to export them for use in other apps on a MacBook and several iPads.
Hi Bruce.
Once you’ve chosen the Restored Image simply right Click on the image and select Download from the list and the image will be Exported to your Downloads Folder.
Hope this helps
Thanks - much appreciated
Is Mosaic online only? The email I received said it was online and in Topaz Studio but I did not know if that meant we could run it locally as well?
Hi David.
Mosaic is online only, Topaz might implement these features withing Topaz Photo sometime in the future over Topaz Gigapixel simply because Topaz Photo already has the Dust and Scratches Filter.
Hope this helps
Thanks. I had used dust and scratches in Photo but this is the first time I have seen a colourise filter which did work pretty well on the few I tried. I would prefer the option to run locally and on a batch of files as it was too slow to do many clips.
I tried the colourise option on a few old photos that had been scanned in. A small sample and a quick test so it is not conclusive but also not that encouraging.
The colourising option in Mosaic failed on each of the photos I tested. It may have to do with the fact that these included Australian bushes which often have a greyish tinge rather than the verdant greens of Europe. Saltbush looks absurd when it is a bright green.
Alternatively, I suspect the colourise option may only be intended for black and white photos. I would be interested to see what colours it decides to use in such a case.
I changed the title so Mosaic discussions and results are shared here. Please note that we mainly use Discord for our web app forums.
Hi Alexandre.
Wonder if you could help I opened Mosaic from the email I received informing me that Mosaic was part of my Studio subscription so, I tried an old Black & White image for colourising worked great.
This morning I tried another image but, this time I opened Mosaic from my new Account page to give it a try on another Black & White image and somewhere along the line I was deducted some Credits is this correct I was under the impression image Rendering is unlimited with a Studio Subscription and Credits were for video usage only.
Thank you for your time
Andy
@AND-E
There was an issue with Mosaic and it charged cloud credits. This has been reverted now for everyone that could have been affected.
Thank you for flagging!
That’s excellent thank you Alexandre, for your help very much appreciated
Andy
Hey has anyone successfully used a tiff file in Mosaic?
Hi Andy, is your colorization straight from the app or did you do additional colorization from another app? Colors look great, mine feel more muted.
There is an issue with cloud rendering at the moment due to AWS being down. This is probably why you have issues. Let us know if you have issues later today.
When I uploaded BW images I got 2 renders in BW & 1 colorized output automatically. Without me having to request colorization.
Yes, it was straight from the app.
