Hi, new Topaz Video AI user here. I’m using it to increase the frame rate of a video to 90fps in this example. This seems to be the case whatever model I use - the CPU, memory, and GPU utilization are relatively low - I think. Same for the SSDs
Is this normal? I’d like it to process as quickly as possible, which I assume means high utilization, haha. Not sure if I am missing a setting.
Windows 10, Nvidia 2070 (will upgrade soon), 32gb ram, Intel 10700, all SSDs
Just a FYI, keep in mind that Task Manager only measures utility (non-time-based) but not usage.
Yes, it does matter… A LOT.
If you desire accurate results, well nothing beats real-time metrics e.g. do a job in Photoshop or Maya (heavy on raterized workloads) and there’s also cinebench, ect. that evaluates system performance that can be displayed with RTSS, and many useful utilities vs Task Manager.
Use HWiNFO or GPU-Z instead. Task Manager can be very misleading. Notice in your screenshot your GPU is at a temperature of 78°C. It won’t get to that temperature doing nothing.
