OK I have to be honest these sites kind of intimidate me. in general i dont undertsand what everyone technical is talking about, so a simple friendly answer welcome. 
i have used Topaz software for many years and have done all the new versionss, upgrades and everything. I used to have a lovely little Topaz add on called Star Effects. it was one of those things that was rarely used, but when it was it worked really well. I have tried reloading it today from the Topaz website and all it gives me is a PDF telling me what i already know - its great.
in the new plethora of of AI this and that has anything replaced this effect and if so what and or how can i acheive this effect.
