I previously installed a trial version, and subsequently bought the app in the Black Friday special. All downloaded safely, but when I open the app, it tells me I’m in trial mode, and there seems no way to get out of the loop.
Yes I did log into my account, but it still sends me on a loop and it ends up at the same place. I deleted anything connected to the trial version, but it still tells me it’s the trial version.
I bought a Black Friday deal of 3 apps - Photo, Video and Gigapixel.
I’ve just installed the Video app, and that is showing the same message - Trial. I’ve never downloaded a trial version of the Video app so there is something seriously wrong. If the same thing happens with the 3rd app, I am really unhappy.
The trial version and the full version are the same installed application for all three apps. There isn’t a different version to download.
To get the full version working, you have to activate your account inside each app. If that isn’t working, it usually means something is blocking the activation process. The activation process involves the app using your browser to log into your Topaz account and download an authorization token.
If you can’t activate the apps, there are some troubleshooting steps:
Have you recently been able to log into your account in a web browser with the email address associated with your Topaz Labs account?
If so, then Photo AI should also connect to your account. If it does not, please make sure you do not have any VPN, proxy servers, or anti-virus software running that can cause connection issues for the apps to reach our servers
You can also clear your cookies and cache in the web browser you use and then log back in before clicking the activate option in the app.
