Issue with overwriting to save file back to photolab6

I use Photolab6 I export a Tiff file to application(photoAI) - all good
edit file in PHOTOAI fine
then come to save the file back to application and this happens:
I save without any additions to file name and allow photoAI to overwrite the original file but it doesn’t overwrite it it creates a new file with exactly the same name so I end up with 2 tiff files with the same name. this never happened with capture one.

latest version of Mac software

this seems like a bug.

Thanks for reaching out. You can overwrite the file so that a new file is not created. Do not change the file name at all to overwrite.

We do not have a specialized plugin for Photolab 6 so it may be using Topaz Photo AI in stand alone mode instead of as a plugin to Photolab 6.
