I have an older laptop and processing time in Photo AI is very long, sometimes up to 45-60 minutes for one photo. If I didn’t have to wait for the Preview Update, I could be done much sooner. Also, if have have to crop, I can’t start that until the Image is done reading, but after cropping, the image is read again. Also, why not upload an edited photo (including cropped) from Lightroom Classic and Photoshop in RAW, or other, forms. Your main 3 editors (DeNoise, Sharpen, & Gigapixel) upload the edited files in TIF format.
Use Edit in and apply the LR settings. Don’t use the plug-in.
Waiting for the preview to update is not necessary, you can process images without previewing them
