There doesn’t seem to be any options in the installer to choose a custom installation directory.
Has anyone successfully installed and run more than one version of Photo AI on Windows?
Thanks

@david.123 The only way to have two different versions is to have the released version and a beta/alpha version.
Please consider allowing custom installation directories for the installer and allowing multiple parallel installations. I would like to be able to do performance comparisons and quality comparisons between versions and it’s a huge hassle to have to remove one to install another.
Thanks!
Agree! I would also like this!
Portable install please!
I really like the “Low Resolution” Model in 6.0.0
However, I would like to be able to have an up-to-date version as well…
I noticed this missing option too. I think you could just install it and then move the whole program folder to where you want to!
I’m afraid this may not work since programs typically install themselves in many places on your computer, for instance on Windows 10 you’ll have Gigapixel AI sitting in:
C:\Program Files\Topaz Labs LLC\Topaz Gigapixel AI
as well as:
C:\Users\ {User} \AppData\Local\Topaz Labs LLC\Topaz Gigapixel AI
Same goes for Photo AI, I guess. There are also registry records and perhaps other structures I’m not aware of, that refer to the original folder name. Also, even if you change AppData’s subfolder name, Topaz will create a new folder with the original name, the moment you launch the software, and it will interfere will your other installed version, even if you succeed with installation.
I know, and I already comlained about it before because it is not necessary. Also when asking me for the instal path the app should be installed exactly and exclusively there. Filling my C: drive and - even worse - hidden folders is a mess.
