The playground of my junior school in the 1950s was overlooked by the Lodge Plug factory in Rugby, Warwickshire. Employees would throw sweets down into the playground and us little kids would scamble for them . My mother-in-law worked there as a young woman packing the plugs into boxes. Just one photo can bring back so many memories. You have made the humble spark plug look rather exciting.
