That’s crazy priced.
Thanks for the example links, PFClean is really impressive.
Sadly it is out of my price range. $419 for 30 days? Does that mean it stops working after 30 days? That’s insane.
I would like to see this as a Add-on for Video AI. I see no issues with selling niche add-ons for the main product like this, as long as the main functionality remains with a single purchase.
This reply convinces me even more that we need this in TVAI.
Nobody’s going to pay these sortof prices for specialised software to clean up old home movies.
Try Digital Vision Phoenix
I think this is a great idea, we are all very much waiting for its embodiment.
Thanks
There is a new process for this, it will compete with TVAI but maybe they can utilize it if they can license the process. Here is a link, there is no commercial software using this yet as far as I can tell.

There is also VIVA Digital Film Restoration Software quite expensive for a film of any size, they charge per frame. So TVAI including this type of restoration could save us a lot of money. I am sure most of us would pay for a restoration add on.
Update: I see the code is now posted in gethub,
GitHub - raywzy/Bringing-Old-Films-Back-to-Life: Bringing Old Films Back to Life (CVPR 2022). Seem like maybe a test of this in the beta TAVI could be a good start??
