I want to build a computer just for VEAI… I know results mostly depend mostly on the GPU, but I was wondering which CPU would be fast and power efficient to keep the power bill semi low? Would the 285k keep power bill low? For the GPU I’ve been leaning towards the 9070 XT.
Topaz appears to be concentrating their effort into optimizing for Nvidia GPUs. It’s been a long time since they said anything about AMD optimization.

I wish they would approach MD for funding of optimization for AMD products.
Best price/performance config I found was a pre-built Z790 with RTX 4070Ti and i5 13600KF 32GB GPU Memory 1TB SSD which has a 2x2 USB 3.2 port (1.5GB/sec transfer rate) with additional SSDs for fast data transfer (FFV1 inter-process for lossless).
My workload is primarily DVD upscaling (Hybrid, Vapoursynth, TVAI). Max power draw seems to be 100W or so. Renders a FHD Iris upscale at 27 fps…
