How to upgrade to Topaz Video AI 5.2.3 from TopazVideoEnhanceAI 2.0.0?

I bought TopazVideoEnhanceAI 2.0.0 windows x64 full installer.exe years ago, and have updated to 2.6.4 since then. I just bought another PC with Win 11, upgraded RAM, CPU and GPU–will I be able to upgrade to the most current Topaz Video AI 5.2.3? If so, does Topaz still offer discount, or an upgrade fee for owners of prior versions, or do I need to pay full price for the 5.2.3?
Thanks!

I found the upgrade-for-prior owners’ page… |Topaz Video AI (1 Year Upgrade License) $149.00

Extends upgrades until Aug 14, 2025:

You already own Topaz Video AI. Your current upgrade license expired Mar 11, 2022.|× 1|$149.00|×|
|Total due||$149.00||

But, it doesn’t say what version it upgrades to. Is it the latest 5.2.3, or an prior version?

It’s for the latest version, and you can use prior versions if you want to.

Just so you know, TVEAI can exist installed alongside TVAI.

Ah, thanks for the fast responses. One last question…I was planning on upgrading to the 5.2.3 to this current older PC, then copying it over to my new (upgrading PC), but, 1) do I need to copy over/install my old 2.0 from years ago first(because the new version ‘builds’ on the old one?) , and 2) is downloading the new 5.2.3 to my old PC then installing it on my new PC even possible? The software may require that I download it to the PC that it will be used on?

You can install it on more than one PC, but you need to have internet access on them for account authentication purposes (and model downloads). You don’t need version 2 pre-installed.

Thanks for the fast response. Yes, my new PC has internet…instead of downloading 5.2.3 to my old PC, then copying it over, just download it to the new PC? That would seem to make more sense?

It will be easier to download the installer file for v5.2.3 directly onto the newer system and install it there instead of going through the copying steps where file paths can get broken.

Finally got the old 2.6.4 working(was missing a DDL). Will download the 5.2.3. to the new PC and test it out.
