A friend of mine sent me this photo of the New York City skyline and asked me if I can do something with it.
I went to Topaz Studio and created a painting using Impression and texture. Here is the finished product:

I like the colour gradient, top to bottom. Nicely done.
Great use of filters. I would, in Photoshop, use the healing brush to remove the tree in the lower right. It distracts from your image as an unnecessary foreground focal point.

Your friend should love this one…great job.
Throwing in the bright colorful sky and bringing up the saturation of the cityscape was the key to this edit. You definitely livened up the photo to show the bustle and hustle that is ever present in NYC.
