Win 11 Pro. Ps 2025 Plugin GAI 8.2.1. Using “regular” models only - no betas. Denoising, Sharpening, Face Recovery + Ps adjustments of various ilks.

Subject: William Henry Shippen. 3.5 yrs. old.

BEFORE (in Ps UI):

AFTER (in Ps UI): Variety of GAI models in multiple passes & upscaled 4x after all the models work completed + Ps tools assortment.

Can Gigapixel non-pro version come with basic CLI command line interface without flocking almost $2000 for the the pro version with CLI in the future? Don’t need sophisticated CLI or batch processing, just basic single file input and output using defined profile will do, as this will help in simple day-to-day workflow.
As much I like Gigapixel, i find it ridiculous to pay $2000 just to process simple input/output file. Not a professional user, just a hobbyist that applying to own taken photos.

hope Gigapixel consider s simple CLI for non-pro version in the future. thank,

Really unbelievable. And also astonishing on how few you hear about this scandal (it’s getting more and more clear that NVIDIA knowingly sold defective chips).

Ok, GAI 8.2.2 with Recovery and a 1433 x 1920 image takes about 9 minutes 30 or 40 to render on a GPU RTX Ventus 3070.

Hopefully AMD will step into the AI game.

So they deliver one lie after another- after being forced to admit the problem, it’s only 0.5% of chips and only 4% lower performance.
And only 5090 and 5070 cards affected.

Now there are 5080 chips turning up with the same issue? Obviously you cannot trust anything NVIDIA says.

Yes, it’s definitely more than time that AMD (or whoever) gets into the highend GPU game as competition seems sorely needed here.

I can’t upgraded to the latest update as it keeps saying that AVX is not installed, however it is; what can I do to update it?

That is strange. I have a machine that for sure does not have AVX capabilities and, to my surprise, was able to install GPAI 8.22 without any issue. V7 failed because of the missing AVX instruction set.

I have worked around another installation issue (install log not accessible) by running GPAI in administrator mode and installing from there. Have you tried it this way?

unfortunately still trying to resolve :disappointed:

Wow! that worked; never thought of that, although I have used that option before on other software. Thanks so much! :smiling_face_with_three_hearts:

Since I understand very little of what is important and what’s not for what’s we’re doing here…

Does the rx 9070 look like something that could be a decent alternative to the new nvidias for using with PAI & GAI if they launch rumored prices?

I really wanted to see for example the 5080 as a good upgrade to my RX6700 but the pricing is a real letdown so far…

Maybe its a surprise.

I did include the Performance for Hopper, the GPU used for Starlight.

Just to get a feeling what kind of GPU for Starlight is needed.
RTX 5090 - INT 8 = 1676 TOPS - 2500€
Hopper 100 - INT8 = 3958 TOPS - 35000€

Hi, did you manage to have a look at what I had sent? Do you confirm seeing the differences as well? Hope it could be remedied somehow in the future. Thanks.

wait for reviews.

When can we get Redefine to be finally fixed on Mac M1 Max?

Some of us have M3 Max processors and every version starting with 8.0.3, including this 8.2.2, processes redefine like this (including export, not just preview). The higher the creativity and texture settings, the harder it is to see the picture outline behind the noise.

Disappointing to pay for Gigapixel redefine feature specifically but not be able to use the latest versions. Yes I have done FULL uninstalls and reinstalls over and over across multiple release versions. Please please address the issue. Thank you.

Yeah only 8.0.2. Works. I wonder if M4 users have the same problem?
