Gigapixel v8.0.3

Thanks ill check again. That’s in Gigapixel, right?

Yes, Gigapixel 8.0.3, standalone (Windows 11 Home).

Silly me. I was launching it from Ps>file>automate>gigapixel

All ok
Thanks

I agree – the vignettes make some sense, it’s not chaotic. And the interpretation of the meaning of the painting can be left to the viewer, without the need for detailed explanations. That’s how it is with people too.

The two towers (the first of the five unedited “vignettes”) seem slightly chaotic to me. As if one was more Romanesque and the other more Gothic. Not that it bothers me, it just seems unusual to me (from a technical, not artistic point of view – and I’m not an architect either) :slightly_smiling_face: .

Unfortunately we can’t reasonably use Recover/Redefine on Macs, not even Studios. Better not to try, seriously.

Even on a PC with 4090 graphics card it takes a few minutes per Redefine, it’s not “immediate” by any means.

I just hope to get acceptable “artsy” and textures out of these for wall display or photo composites or whatever.

Original full frame with Redefine:

100% crop with artsy:

I really like that last picture. There is a dark part of a strange city, and on the other side it is lit (maybe) not by the sunrise, but (probably) by the sunset. Gradual extinction? The top left seems to confirm the extinction. Oh, what dark thoughts! :face_with_open_eyes_and_hand_over_mouth:

Heads-up there was a supply chain attack that affects ComfyUI (and maybe others) in the last 24h. Any components that depend on Ultralytics 8.3.41 to 8.3.42 (a cryptominer was snuck in, apparently).

Thanks. I haven’t been aboe to get any reasonable results. You might be explaining why.

So maybe the value here is mainly to generate source material for image-to-image

This is at 50% reference to the source.

If you’re beta testing there is supposed to be improvement, but I do not see it…

With this workflow I have created a new Topaz superhero (or villian) franchise!

Original WOMBO (reduced):

hero0

WOMBO Redefined 6X with Creativity=6, texture=3 (reduced):

Lower right corner cropped:

hero2

Image-to-image in DiffusionBee with 50% image input setting:

DarkFantasyArtsilhouetteo_91518686

Image-to-image in DiffusionBee with slightly looser original image input setting:

hero3

DiffusionBee result re-Redefined:

hero4

Alternate, with special James Bond right hand created by Q Branch (and Topaz Girl fans looking on!):

hero6

Another alternate, with sidekick Catbird on high alert (our hero is almost ready for her nap):

When there are too many details, the photo starts to resemble the old HDR style from Photoshop around 2010—Strange and overly unreal.

Yes. That’s… simply Her! After the gradual revelation of Her identity, it’s better not to say Her name out loud… But we, Her admirers, know…

Interesting what can be created via Redefine. Thanks for the inspiration.

Just one question, where did you get that statement?

Hi, just a quick question: What workflow with what AI did you use to greatly improve my image of the panda. Because as I quite liked the quality of the background, I was just wondering.
If it was in ComfyUI, can you give me the workflow .json file? I’m interested in having it for other images of the same kind when I need it.

The image is upscaled by SUPIR, not ComfyUI.
I only used ComfyUI to fix the claw.

Why I get this message when I try to post my question/feed back?
An error occurred: You are not permitted to view the requested resource.

Anyway…this is the question, …:
Can I go back to v 7? It was perfect!
This one is not working… continuously trying to downlad models and fails… And somehow also the quality of my images was better… especially Low Resolution mode
Thanks
Tanya

I found the github link to the problem. But it only concerns a certain ComfyUI pack. The “ComfyUI-Impact-Pack”. And the malicious code would be in a file located in “C:\Users\Username\AppData\Roaming\Python\Python312\site-packages\ultralytics\utils”.
Personally, I don’t have Python installed. And I use the Stability Matrix launcher to install Stable Diffusion packs.
And I don’t have the file in question with malware.

ha ok. I see. Yeah the SUPIR site I know but to use it you have to have a subscription There wasn’t even any free credit for trying it out.
