So we now had a few Gigapixel iOS updates but, unfortunately, besides the queue and fixing an incorrect version number nothing seems to have been done.
And there are quite some things to be addressed:
-
What likely is the worst is that Gigapixel for iOS still strips all EXIF data. Both, with local processing as well as with cloud renderings. Please fix this asap.
-
the possibility to full screen switch between the unprocessed image and the enhanced one with a long tap has been removed some time ago-why? Please re-add this functionality again.
-
selection process of images to be processed still is quite awkward. With about every other photo editing software on the iPhone you can browse the gallery and then, if you have the respective image opened, use the action menu to directly edit the image in the wanted app. Remini has this, Luminar, PS, Lensa,… So why (still) not GP?
And one last thing:
We’ve been told that the much speedier renderings would translate into lower costs for cloud rendering in the desktop apps. I guess we should also benefit from this in GP for iOS.
