What could be implemented is a timer that tells the expected time left of completion as well as projected time of completion at the settings window

Does our progress bar not give you a good enough indication on time estimation? Are you batch editing photos and want a timer for the jobs overall time to completion or individualized for each image?
Yeah the progress bar absolutely does not give enough information, I wouldn’t be posting this if it did. There’s not even a percentage indicator let alone a time expectation
