I would like to catch your attention about few missing key features in your Topaz Labs Video AI implementation !
I don’t know how you use the app or your workflow, but in my case, I need to stack renderings.
I mean my workflow is a suite of AI processing on one source. The output feeding the next process !
Actually, I have to do it manually for each source, which is highly the origin of possible mistakes.
If it was possible to create Working folders, attached a script that describe the workflow and apply each steps to the previous output so the processing are stacked!
For instance, for one video, I need to apply:
- Proteus Focal Fix
- Theia
- Iris
- Chronos
- Proteus upscale 4K
Request 2
As processing images per second with Chronos, one main improvment could be an auto diagnosis that scans and detects the true FPS !
Maybe strange for you, but unfortunetaly, many sources are wrongly flagged !
It has even a name : video with dirty flag.
StaxRip has open source tools that could inspire you.
With such tools, Chronos could understand the real FPS and avoid temporal artefacts.

A global pause button in the rendering room for letting us to do something, quit the apolication, install Windows Update, etc.
Actually, when you pause a rendering, the next pending one is automatically starting ! Not exactly what I want.

A new model for restoring damaged DV / DVD contents with missing macro blocks.
I saw on Internet one demo and it works wonderfull to fill missing / repeated macro blocks.
Usually it happens when DV tapes have drops out.
