By accident, I detected that Proteus 4 with with Focus Fix set to Standard is well suitable to remove combing artifacts without affecting details and sharpness too much, at least if the combing was created without scaling the interlaced source. This applies to SD and HD media.
This use case is hidden, because not documented. The hint next to the button says that the only purpose of this model is fixing slightly missed focus of HD and UHD media.
Software dedicated to removing combing artifacts effectively with little quality loss is a rare animal. Thus, I’d suggest adding information about this use case to the hints.
