While all the other photographers were crowded on the other side, I decided to go back behind the fire and see what I could get (I don’t like crowds). I think this gave a unique viewpoint. This was taken in 2013 in New Mexico.

Very nice capture and I like your story.
On the right side you can see a hot air balloon, they were doing a night glow as well. This was in Gallup, NM and is spectacular for hot air balloons in the day with red rock.
I like the different approach & viewpoint when you took this shot… very nice shot and edits.
