Files no longer compatible?

I’ve been working on a major project over the past few weeks with Topaz Video where I convert a few files each night. Tonight, when I went to start a new batch, I was offered an upgrade to v1.6.1. After upgrading, the software will no longer load the source files. Files that loaded and converted without errors now will not load, claiming they are not compatible with the software. The are AVC/AAC files in an MKV container.

Can you grab the logs from the app and send in to help@topazlabs.com so we can investigate further? We saw some previous situations where files from an NAS drive would not load into the app, but that patch was part of the update to 1.6.1.

To gather logs, please select Help > Logging > Get Logs for Support and attach the zip file to your reply.

Here is a video to help with the steps of how to collect the logs.

Sorry I’ve already downgraded my installation to resume my project. All of the files were stored locally on an NTFS drive and were never on a NAS.

Understood on the file storage option not being an NAS drive. If the older version is working for you, I would recommend staying with that while we continue to investigate these issues. Our team is working on replicating the situation as best we can from what users have shared in various configurations.
