I have a 3769x5604 image shot on a Nikon D850 with a 17-55 F2.8 lens at ISO400 with TTL flash at -1, so there’s a little bit of noise on the resulting jpeg. I put it through Wonder 3 at 2x. I was expecting a very long processing time. It finished in a few minutes (it said over 100 minutes) and the result is far better than I could have wished for. My grandson on his 4th birthday with cake in his teeth. The resulting image is 7538x11208 and is 55.3Mb.
I tried Wonder 3 with local processing on the Great Dane sample image and the results weren’t very good. If it was a RAW instead of a JPEG, Lightroom Classic could have done a better job. I wonder (pun intended) if Wonder 3 would do a better job on a raw version of this image? BTW Studio almost always works much better than Lightroom on JPEGs. So I didn’t bother exporting it to test in Lightroom.
It’s not my image. It’s one of the 5 sample images supplied by Topaz with the Studio install. It’s a jpeg and I was wondering if Wonder 3 would do a better job on the raw version of the image.
