Feedback | Autopilot

Even after reviewing the documentation, I’m uncertain about what Autopilot does:

  • automatically detecting issues AND fixes them, or
  • automatically detecting issues and suggests fixes in a sequence

In Preferences, “automatically apply filters” means the same as Apply Autopilot? Then why can apply Autopilot even if automatically apply filters" is on?

I can toggle the Autopilot feature, but toggled to on doesn’t seem to mean to apply the suggestions, as there is a separate Apply Autopilot element.

It’s a cool feature btw, but they way it’s presented in the UI is confusing.

Hi Zoltan.

automatically detecting issues AND fixes them, or

automatically detecting issues and suggests fixes in a sequence

When an image is imported it is first Analysed then Autopilot will automatically apply Enhancements based on that Analysis then, suggests what to apply next

Autopilot automatically runs on each image upon import.

In Preferences, “automatically apply filters” means the same as Apply Autopilot? Then why can I apply Autopilot even if automatically apply filters" is on?

The Apply Autopilot Toggle Switch means you can either use the Switch within the Panel is to Activate or Deactivate Autopilot for all images or Switch it On or Off for individual images.

The Automatically Apply Filters is basically, giving you the choice to allow Autopilot to Apply it’s Suggestions to every image Automatically or not

If you Select Automatically Apply Filters then, you can can still use the Toggle Switch to Pause that action for you to apply your own Enhancements.

I can toggle the Autopilot feature, but toggled to on doesn’t seem to mean to apply the suggestions, as there is a separate Apply Autopilot element.

Autopilot only Applies the Filters to fix the image then offers Suggestions/Recommendation on what to do next basically, it’s your choice if you follow though with those Suggestions.

Suggestions are always there for helpful hints and a quick way of Selecting different Filters without having to search for them plus, as before it’s up to the individual if they want to follow those hints or ignore them

It’s a cool feature btw, but they way it’s presented in the UI is confusing.

Absolutely

Got it, thanks so much @AND-E
