I’m used to being able to undo my last action in DXO, Photoshop, etc. (Mac OS Command+Z). But TOPAZ AI V2 doesn’t seem to do this.
Making adjustments can be a trial if I forget the original value, make a change I don’t like and then have to re-fine tune to get back to where I was…
+1 for sure. I’m running 2.3.2 - and I’m not finding a simple UNDO - am I missing something?
I just erased several items - took a while - and I want to REDO the last erasure to use other settings - and my only option is to undo everything I did up to this point?
I truly appreciate the quality of what you deliver—it’s excellent. However, I continue to struggle with some fundamental features that feel essential, such as a basic Undo function and an Invert selection feature.
I was informed that customer feedback didn’t get enough requests for Undo, which wasn’t a priority, but I find that hard to believe. It’s difficult to imagine users wanting to redo a complex mask to make a minor adjustment. While Undo is now available in certain areas, its implementation feels inconsistent, which adds friction to the workflow.
Additionally, an Invert function is a significant gap. The ability to quickly invert a selection (e.g., clone a selection and select its inverse) would be incredibly helpful and would enhance productivity.
Could you please advise on plans to address these issues? These updates would significantly improve the user experience.
New user of Photo AI, but experienced with Sharpen, Denoise, and Gigapixel. Without an undo, especially after a lengthy rendering that I may not like, I’ll continue to use the stand-alone programs until they will no longer run in a future macOS. Deleting and starting again is not appealing. Please implement an undo function.
Regarding Photo AI you can Undo and Redo Selections by simply, pressing
Undo Selection > Command/Control Z
Redo Selection > Command/Control Y
There’s a whole host of keyboard shortcuts available within Photo AI starting with these two
Open Shortcuts > Command/Control plus /
Open Preferences > Command/Control plus ,
When you open the shortcuts window, on the left you’ll see a list
The list is divided into three categories Application, Autopilot and Shortcuts below each category are the links for the items contained within the categories clicking on one of the items opens the options for that item on the right
The Selection Shortcuts would be most applicable for you simply, click on the Selection link under the Shortcuts category and a list of clearly defined Shortcuts will appear on the right
